Replacement for 214231 - suction pipe complete, carburettor to distributor. Supplied complete with all fittings. This part is a replacement part manufactured to the original specification. -
Oil Filter Conversion (includes filter) - Replacement for 216322. Our spin-on filter conversion is a direct replacement for the original and now obsolete ZS1 AC oil filter used on early (Siamese bore) Rover engines. Once fitted this makes subsequent filter replacement quick and easy, comes complete with a filter and a list of commonly available replacement filters. -
The gauge comes complete with the water temperature capillary tube and bulb, which is intended to mate with a 3/8" BSP union (part no. 218512) fitted in the side of the thermostat housing. Some thermostat housings were supplied with tapped holes ready for a gauge and heater tap to be fitted (may be fitted with a blanking plugs). Some thermostat housings were supplied without holes and will need to be drilled and tapped. Please check what you have and ensure you are able carry out any necessary modifications. If you vehicle has been previously fitted with an original type gauge the correct union will already be fitted. Connection to the oil pressure gauge should be made by flexible pipe with a 1/8" BSP female union, this is not included with the gauge. A fitting kit is available (our part LR000069) which contains the parts required to connect the oil pressure gauge and retain the original oil pressure switch/light. In an 80" vehicle the gauge is often mounted in the blanking plate covering the LHD steering column hole (avoids cutting holes in the bulkhead). In 86"/88" vehicles the gauge is normally mounted on an auxiliary panel on the left of the main instrument panel. Parts for this are not supplied. -

Connection hose, air cleaner to carburettor. Replacement for 237868/263149. A cut length of commercial ducting similar in appearance and construction to the original (rubberised canvas on a spiral former) offering a cost effective replacement in lieu of an original part. **Please note - the hose has a narrow yellow stripe with the manufacturers name running along its length but this can be positioned out of sight as in the picture.** -

Sealing Rubber for vent flaps - The new seal is supplied by the metre and it is a relatively simple job to cut and glue in place. Bottom corners are cut at 45º to form a mitered joint. -

The fitting kit contains a special 3/8" BSP adapter to fit the water temperature bulb into the Series 1 thermostat housing, flexi pipe for oil pressure line and special unions for connecting the oil line to the engine block. This allows the original oil pressure switch and light to be retained. There are two variations of the kit for 1.6 litre and 2 litre vehicles, please select as appropriate. Please note: Some thermostat housings were supplied with tapped holes ready for a gauge and heater tap to be fitted (may be fitted with blanking plugs). Some thermostat housings were supplied without holes and will need to be drilled and tapped. Please check what you have been supplied and ensure you are able carry out any necessary modifications. -

Door Seal -All models 1954 - 58 We have had correct profile door seal rubber reproduced and sell it by the metre. It is moulded in a soft neoprene sponge rubber with a slot that will take a metal strip so can be fitted as per the original with rivets although a lot of people simply glue it in place. We do not supply the metal strip and rivets but the correct parts are available from various parts suppliers advertising in Legend. There are some people advertising door seal with an integral metal strip, although this appears to be the correct profile it is actually Defender tailgate seal and the rubber is far too hard for Series 1 applications. To replace the seals all round one door you need approx 4m (8m for two doors) and 2m for the tailgate. Price above is per metre - please select the quantity required. -
Replaces Parts 304020 Not to original specification but a cost effective solution where originality is not a concern. See below for matching Fixed Window required. -
Our replacement windows are made from 5mm Perspex, they do not have an aluminium frame around them but are the correct thickness to fit straight into the original channel, they have a small knob fitted similar in appearance to the original. Not to original specification but a cost effective solution where original parts are not available. -
Supplied in 340mm lengths and easily cut to size. Replacement for: 300938, 301288, 302880 & 302919 -
Galvanised sliding window channel as per original specification. Supplied in 785mm lengths and easily cut to size, one length is sufficient to replace either a top or bottom channel. Replacement felt lining for the inside of sliding window channel, this has been specially cut to fit inside the original metal channel. -
