WE’RE A FRIENDLY BUNCH
Our aim is to further interest in the maintenance, usage and restoration of Series One Land-Rovers, through research, access to spares and expertise.
We do this through the club magazine, “Legend“, and through this web-site, our club forum and associated smartphone App and our Facebook and YouTube presence. We also have a worldwide network of Area Representatives who meet with other enthusiasts in their area.

“Legend”, the Club’s magazine, is published six times a year and has won numerous awards. Editions regulary include features on restorations, archive materials and historical interest articles, maintenance tips and a reports from shows and exhibitions worldwide. If you’d like to advertise in Legend, please contact adverts@lrsoc.co.uk
A complete set of prior editions (excluding very recent editions) is available in pdf form on this site for Club members to search and download.
The editor of Legend, Ros Woodham, can be contacted at legend@lrsoc.co.uk

Our Club forum has over 10,000 registered users worldwide and has probably covered every topic imaginable. It is free to non-members. Unfortunately, as a result of automated attacks viewing tens of thousands of posts per hour, we can no longer allow guests to browse our forum.
Most of our extensive historical and technical archive is only available once you have registered, with yet more available still to paid-up club members. Why not join in?
As social media has developed, so has the Club. In addition to our popular forum, we have launched our own Instagram profile and Facebook Group, enabling non-members to interact and enabling the sharing of photos and videos simpler and ‘on the go’ using smart phones.
The Club is also commissioning a range of informative maintenance videos for our very own YouTube channel. Our aim as always is to assist owners to keep their vehicles on the road.
The Club has a network of Area Representatives around the UK, Europe and Worldwide.
They are a valuable source of information for Club members and can provide help and support in all sorts of ways :-
– Contact with other local members
– Shows & Local Meets
– Scenic and Greenlane Runs
We are always looking to expand our coverage of Area Reps both in the UK and overseas. If you would like to find out more, please contact secretary@lrsoc.co.uk
