Extracts from the Land Rover Brockhouse Trailer Despatch Book which may be of use as a quick point of reference for approximate trailer build dates from serial numbers. Article kindly provided by Dave Hanson of the LR Register
A Brockhouse trailer with the number BT8 4263 was shown on the forum at the completion of restoration in 2018. This has only the serial number plate on the drawbar, the usual second plate with the brake adjustment instructions had not been fitted. It predates the start of the list in the Despatch Book so was probably built in Jan/Feb 1949.
