From the same team that bought you Wagons at the Station, we are pleased to announce that ‘Land Rovers Return to Rottingdean’ will take place on Saturday 17th July 2021 at Rottingdean Windmill.

Conveniently situated on the A259 South Coast Road, this stunning venue is midway between Newhaven and Brighton, on the edge of the sleepy seaside village of Rottingdean.

Perched on the boundary of the South Downs National Park, the windmill is a great place to meet up with LRSOC members for a full day of Series One Fun!

Arrive from 10:30 am for tea and pastries from The Windmill Bakery. Park up and take in the view of Seaford Head and the Dieppe ferry from the east and the contrasting skyline of Brighton and Hove to the west.

As well as an impressive line up of Series Ones, there will be a display of original 1950’s advertising, with accompanying talk during the morning – a bit more than just your average ‘park up and chin wag’. There’ll be plenty of time to look around the delights of Rottingdean, including Kipling Gardens, the village pond and of course the beach, which are all within ten minutes walk of the windmill.

After lunch you can set off on a planned scenic drive along the coast to a mystery location that will be of interest to everyone. All you need is a fiver for the cost of the windmill car park and if you’ve got one, bring your dog, who will love the fresh air and open space of this unique seaside location.

THIS IS A MEMBERS ONLY MEETING – Now Fully Booked – No more entries being accepted.

If you’d like to see your Series One event here, email details to events@lrsoc.co.uk

Please note: There are too many general classic car shows or charity runs for us to publish them all so we will only show those that are well attended by the Land Rover Series One Club, the Land-Rover Register 1948-1953 or that may be of particular interest to our members.
