Nothing.... too cold and wet.

Ditto up here on the North York Moors.

... but a better day today, so I celebrated the 66th anniversary of SXF870's build day by winching a gatepost more upright.  Happy birthday Fido... still working after 6+ decades.

Used my CO2 and particulates emitting, not tremendously fuel efficient Landy to move my environmental, bio diversity friendly rock pile to a new location.  I can't decide whether I am an environmental fiend or a friend of the earth?

The 107 purchased in the UK is being delivered from the NJ, USA docks to our home today.  Can't wait to see it in person.

Carried 400 pounds of gravel from the home center in style. Until now, the heaviest has been me, a mug of coffee and a pastry or two.

Did you notice much ride improvement with the weight on?  A heavy load transformed mine over bumpy roads but my wife is the heaviest load I've carried yet since getting back on the road...

In case I've given the wrong impression [or she sees this!], I should have stated that the ride was quite bumpy...

36102930 has the original narrow rear springs and the ride was smoother with the weight in the rear. Great video.

Love the "feethandles" ;D

I don't! Not recommend practice.... this is the best way to get your legs broken as your knees stuff onto your eye sockets, should you be involved in a crash.

Tell me about it Graeme - we were just getting home and I thought suddenly that some video of her first ride would be a nice record and got her to take it on my mobile phone - I was a bit disappointed too when I saw it was in portrait.

Mike - I did pass comment but it was her first time in it and without seat belts she didn’t feel safe - she’s only wee and found the grab handles uncomfortable to use conventionally.  Plus she’s Scottish and you learn not to argue too much!

That explains everything.  You’re not married to Nicola Sturgeon by any chance?

Carrying Sant a on a close coupled trailer on the highway is probably a legal offence.  But I guess Santa has exemption from UK traffic law? (same rules as caravans I guess)

It’s not easy standing in for Santa.  One Santa-impersonator I know VERY well didn’t get a seat on his trailer (pulled by a Disco Sport), but had stand up hanging on to the ladder rack.  Then the Church Hall was nice and warm inside, so my (sorry… HIS) glasses steamed up and he couldn’t see a thing.

Handing them to the elf for wiping was a disaster… it dislodged the elastic on the beard, which fell down and refused to go back discreetly.  Fortunately he had his own white beard underneath, and none of the children said “Mummy… why has Santa got two beards?”

Ho, Ho, Ho!🧑‍
