Lions Club "Mitfahrmuseum" today at the Bad Homburger Schloss https://lions-hessenpark.de/event/mitfahrmuseum/ and https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bad_Homburg_Castle .  8 bought one a charity spin around town.  I had a few takers for the Series ... mostly kids.  The exhaust flange manifold is holding fine ... but I think I need a new exhaust manifold-to-motor gasket.  Total mileage 33 (53 klicks) for eight rides averaged 4.1mi/6.6km per ride over five hours, which raised c. 200 for charity ... plus about about 1/4 tank of Shell V-Power 100 at 2.49 per liter.

I dropped into Berwick St John for a few hours today, sorry not to meet you Rob. Nice event with plenty to see and has changed quit a lot since I last showed my series one there.
Lovely day and had a really nice run over the hills from Devizes and managed to include a few byways on the return trip.
2 Thanks.

200 for charity ... plus about 1/4 tank of Shell V-Power 100 at 2.49 per liter.

Follow-up:  The six-hour event raised 10,000 for charity including corporate donations https://mitfahrmuseum-de.translate.goog/2022/09/20/mitfahrmuseum-froehlich-winkend-zum-rekorderloes/?_x_tr_sl=de&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=wapp .  There were circa 30 cars in action, and I estimate that the sponsors probably donated around 2,500, so 7,500 30 = 250 per vehicle for the day, a bit over what I generated.  I think this is a great fundraising idea, and people were so much more engaged and genuinely interested in the vehicles than the usual "pull up, park, and stand around" car shows.  The annual Militracks show in the Netherlands each year does something similar https://www.flickr.com/photos/143034568@N06/albums/72177720298959815/page2 .  The town-brand Horex motorcycles https://www.horex.com/en/the-horex-story/ with sidecars were in constant use by kids and handicapped people in wheelchairs, and the drivers did yeoman's job keeping up with demand.  Here is my photo album from the day https://www.flickr.com/photos/143034568@N06/albums/72177720302165544 .  I'll follow up with the organizers' photos once they're up.
