Called in to  small local tractor rally at Wylam,  thought I had oldest vehicle there but upstaged by a cute 1921 Citroen
Would look good with Kegresse tracks in place of rear axle

For the 70tht birthday of minerva tt the register organises a couple of greenlaning days..
Well today's one not much green tough... More like the sahara desert... Dust...dust and more dust... She never missed a beat for 220 kilometres.
But for Cornwall i will need ear muffs or ear plugs...
Nice venue tough with 65 kilometres off Road.
12 Minerva TT 80", one 86 Minerva SW, an my little 80" hardtop

Went on a road run around West Yorkshire, after tightening my balls up (see earlier thread re accelerator control rods), no problems, ran like a dream.

Almscliffe crag is in the background of the rear quarter shot, a local landmark between Otley and Harrogate.

Swapped NATO Hitch to a ball hitch.

Took and cwappy caravan that had been in the way at home, into our wood to act as shelter/ to provide rudimentary facilities,

Took down 3 Ash trees that had succumbed to die-back, and brought some of the wood home....

Then put the NATO hitch back on the back to move a 5 ton trailer into the spot vaccated by the caravan.....

Very rare to go to a rally and see green 80s (almost) outnumbered by 107s. Variety is the spice of series 1 life

Thought I saw a light green S1 travelling north possibly around Muir of Ord yesterday - a really nice sight. Didn’t wave as in our Campervan (but NOT doing NC500).

Thanks for posting.  I wish I had known, I would have showed up.  By coincidence on Sunday,  I was told about a different coffee meet up near me in NJ.  I showed up, but nobody there.  Some type of error.  I was told about it by someone I had not met.  Good looking truck

Removed the truck cab and put the Hoodsticks, safety belt bar, rear bench seats and tilt on ready for the trip to Cornwall.
Then went for a spin on some of the local lanes on the edge of Salisbury Plain.
1 Thank you.

Joined a small band together at the Organford Classic Rally over the Jubilee weekend. Not surprisingly with so much going on the show has been quiet but nevertheless an interesting mix of vehicles across the 70yrs of Her Majesty’s reign.
A big thank you to the few who did come along to represent the S1.

Well yesterday went to the Teesside air show. Good long display from the Red Arrows, you can just see the coloured vaper trail reflection in the drivers side wind screen. Only counted four Land Rovers with two being series ones.

Took a load of bricks and rubble to the dump, if I put this load in the trailer they usually charge the full fee, in the back of the 86" it is about half the price.

Hello Ivor
Wondered where you were yesterday. I guess Land Rover Legends a bit too far south but we ended up with three ex RAF 80’s at Thruxton this weekend. Maybe one day we’ll get another chance to meet again and hopefully add a couple more as Brendan aka Beechnut on here will soon be on the road.
Legends was certainly quieter this year on Saturday though Sunday was a bit better. The Register and LRSOC stands were sensibly next door to each other if a little difficult to tell where one ended and the other started lol. Hope you had a great day too. Cheers
Malcolm
3 Thanks.
