Hi All

I have finally got hold of my first Series 1. Its a 1956 (i believe) 109 pickup from New Zealand, its going to be a bit of a project over the next year or so. I am new to series 1's so no doubt there will be some questions.

Thanks

Mike

Welcome, 109's are best!

Same grey paint like on mine inside the cabin.

Interesting to see the radiator mask which is identic to mine without the 2 small opening at the lower side.
Thought it is a replica but it seems to be a standard fit.

Good luck with the resto

This is the later steel radiator panel. Unfortunately prone to rust! But very good repair sections are available. The early aluminium panel has the two extra openings.

Thank you, Sebastian.

Thought it was one more steel replica of the former owners.

Due to dry climate and 5 layers of paint no need for excessive welding. ;D

Cheers
