Hi all, new member maric748, owner of 1955 86” which has been laid up for 20years. I previously owned a 1954 86” 35 years ago, which I had when my 2 sons were young. They loved bouncing about on cushions in the back but my wife didn’t think this was safe. After a few years I sold it, regretting it always but now can start again. My landy is rough but solid, after a day I had it running but needs a rebuild. I am very pleased to have joined lrsoc, the club is excellent and information is vast, look forward to playing an active part,

Welcome to the group Maric from a relative newcomer myself.

Land Rover looks great, good year 1955, same as my one. Also looks like yours was painted in the past with the same shade of lighter green as my one too!

Craig.

Hi
As Steve says it looks a nice straight old Land Rover ,
Please don’t paint it you’d never replicate that patina .
Regards Trevor
