Windscreen seal
- May 17, 2016 - 23:49
Having purchased a windscreen seal from the club shop I tried to fit it to my restored 88". I cannot get a weathertight seal. It must be me! If anyone can help guide me I would be most grateful. I did not have a bulkhead with seal fitted to refer to. I posted this on the general forum as I couldn't see a bodywork section in the technical forum.

Michael,

A picture showing the seal installed might help somebody offer advice? The seal simply slides on albeit with lots of lubricant as required.

Regards

Richard

Apologies. I have got my wife in hospital. Therefore visiting along with everything else hasn't allowed time to take photographs. I will post one Asap.

Thanks for your concern Landy. She has had a replacement hip replaced. There was a problem post op but things have settled now and she is improving. I still have no time yet to take the necessary photos. Thanks again.
