I bought her a month ago, the previous owner of 18 months had welded the chassis and got the engine running. Prior to that she had been on blocks for 30 years. I have wired up the electrics including indicators, on the back I managed to squeeze another bulb holder and bulb into the replica lamp.
I've written to the DVLA to ask for previous owners, no reply as yet. She was painted white at an early stage in life, maybe an medical vehicle. It also has a Lucas 9 terminal regulator and more interesting, the remains of hydraulic? pipes under the passenger seats and a pipes sized hole into the rear tub. Any ideas?
The engine runs sweetly when warmed up, I think the 77k miles may be genuine. My present intention is to paint the wheels green and the hardtop ivory.
