Holden powered S1

Does anyone here in the Uk own a Series 1 with a Holden engine fitted? I am going to be  looking at a 109" soon and I was wondering if any parts are available here or does one have to import them?
Also, any problem finding insurance?

Any info would be appreciated, thanks,

Hi there,

I bought an imported 88Ē with a Holden engine, I did intend to retain it but the clutch conversion housing was a mess, so replaced with an IOE.

Probably not too many parts in UK , but easily available in Australia.
You could try Marc Pederson at Cross country and agricultural vehicles as he has lots of ex Aussie L/Rís.
Perhaps thatís where the 109Ē is ?

Sorry I no longer have the Holden engine.
Regards , Carl.

P.s
They do sound nice , and are a period conversion. So maybe nice to keep.

Try Jon Holmes at Cross Channel Classics he regularly has parts coming from Australia.
