Title: LR series 1 Rover 60 Manifolds
Post by: Aubrey Kirkham on May 03, 2021 - 16:08
Hello, there. I am progressing very well on our 88" Land Rover Series 1 but will need an Exhaust Manifold and an Inlet Manifold, together with a Carburettor. Any advice or guidance would be gratefully received. Thank you
Aubrey Kirkham

Hi Aubrey,

You probably want an original Solex ? But I do have a Weber if  you were thinking of one.

Iím at SY11 4ET , so near to you. Iím also rebuilding a 1957 88Ē, so we should meet up some time ?

Regards , Carl.

Carl, Thank you for replying.................. yes, let's meet up, do you want to send me your e-mail address;-I am on:- aubrey@aubreykirkhamfuneraldirector.co.uk. My Series 1 is fitted with a Ford V6Essex Engine, but I have bought a Rover 60/ Land Rover Series 1;  2 litre, minus bits and pieces.
We have stripped her down, Repainted the chassis, and body panels, and rebuilt, but have been having Brake Issues, that could be fixed by Thursday. Mine is KFX51 a 1956 88" Soft Top.#
Best regrads
Aubrey
