Iím going to call the top of the market.

When advertisers and investment firms use a shiny Series One to promote their Ďall terrainí performance on the front page of the Telegraph, values have peaked.

Surprised they didnít mention the other similarities between the two. Bumpy Ride, Poor Tracking, Ripoff Component Parts and ĎCan go down as well as upí.

Excellent post, Peter.  The worrying part of violent inflation of the price for the vehicles is the commensurate inflation in the cost of some of the more rare parts. Not aided by the Reborn project...

I remember a post a while back, titled  "hedge find, or Hedge fund.  My last project 12 years ago cost me £1200, and was just about complete
and running, now worth about 3 X that as a project, and 10 X that now its finished ?    Its no longer a cheap hobby anymore.  I dont think the
JLR reborn project has really done us any favours either.

I would say that savy investors will have moved on from series ones. The big money increases have been realised and prices plateaued. The issue now for people with that investor mentality is how long they will maintain the value and when is the time to sell out.

Itís a sad day when our cherished motors are deemed investments. And prices for young aspiring owners are out of reach.

Catch up Vardon, this happened some years ago 😂 When you say prices are out of reach for young aspiring owners it could mean anything, especially property these days.
