Sorry to bring this thread back up but just reading through and iv got a January 1950 built  motor reg number FNV 671 Chassis number R06106516  narrow front leaf spring  model  it has a lights  through the grill front panel fitted so is this right or has it had a facelift at some point  thanks Terry
I have 06107039 25/01/1950. It is narrow front spring, none fish plate chassis and lights behind. As yours is an earlier build it would appear wrong.
